What’s new in DialVia

You can now make and receive calls with the free DialVia app for iPhone. Calls use your iPhone's own call screen, and calls to your DialVia number ring even when the app is closed. Sign in with the same account and your balance, numbers and call history come with you.

When you press a key to choose a phone menu option, you now hear the tone, and menus pick up your presses more reliably. We also fixed a bug where keys pressed during a call were added to the number, so redialing could call the wrong number.

You can now sign in or create an account on dialvia.com with your Apple ID, as well as on iPhone. You can keep your email private using Apple's Hide My Email.

You can now suggest features and vote for the ones you want most on the feature requests page. Suggestions are reviewed before they appear publicly, and you can see what's planned on the roadmap.

Some calls were using your computer's default microphone instead of the one you picked, so the other person couldn't hear you. Calls now always use your chosen microphone, and if it's been unplugged we switch to your default one instead of failing the call.

When you buy credits, checkout now shows the price in your local currency and lets you pay in it. You see exactly what you'll pay before you confirm, with no conversion surprise from your bank afterwards.

We redesigned the whole site, from the landing page to the dialer, and gave DialVia a new speech bubble logo.

• Rates before you call. The dialer shows the per-minute rate for the number you're calling before you press call.
• Buying credits starts with your number. Enter the number you'll call and see how many minutes each amount gets you.
• A rebuilt mobile menu. Easier to reach everything on your phone, without the bars that used to sit at the bottom of the page.

You can now protect your account with an authenticator app. Turn it on from your profile, scan the QR code and save your recovery codes somewhere safe. From then on, signing in asks for a six digit code as well as your password.

The DialVia connector for AI assistants can now buy credits and phone numbers for you, as well as checking rates and your balance. If you haven't saved a card yet, it sends you a secure link to add one first.

New accounts now get their first call free. To unlock it, you verify a card; it's checked but never charged for the free call. One card unlocks one free call, which keeps it fair for everyone.

Your call history now comes with an interactive globe that pins every country you've called. Spin it, tap a country to see your calls there, and call a number again in one tap.

DialVia now has an MCP server, so AI assistants like Claude can check call rates, your credit balance and your recent calls for you. Create an access token on your profile and add DialVia as a connector.

Calls made from Asia and Australia now connect through our new server in Singapore instead of travelling all the way to Europe first. Shorter distance means less delay on the line.

Turn on auto top-up and we'll add credits automatically when your balance runs low, so a call never cuts out because you ran out mid-conversation. You choose the amount and when it kicks in.
